Assalamu Alaikum,
Asthe Chief Returning Officer (CRO), I would like to remind you about the MSA by-election for the 2010-2011 term. Please note that the nomination period for PR External ends Friday, July 23, 2010.
Additionally, voting for the by-election will be conducted online at http://www.macmsa.com/elections and will take place from Monday July 26, 2010 to Sunday August 1, 2010. If you have any concerns, please e-mail elections@macmsa.com.

Assalamu Alaikum,
As the Chief Returning Officer (CRO), I would like to inform you about the MSA by-election for the 2010-2011 term. As the Elections Committee, we are an independent body separate from current MSA Executives and Directors, and all questions and concerns regarding the elections process should be addressed to us ONLY.
The following contains many important pieces of information regarding the election process. During these next few weeks nominations and election for the Executive Position of PR External will take place for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Assalmau alaykum,
My experience with MacMSA has taught me so much about organizations, team work, community networking, and showed me the true strength of brotherhood (and the dark side of the sparkle squad). I was eager to accept the position of PR External as I gathered my thoughts on how to effectively voice the concerns of the McMaster Muslim community to the administration of McMaster University and Students’ Union.
Earlier this summer I was offered a promising job in Mississauga. I was concerned on how I would manage my academics, MSA executive role, and a part time job. I was worried that my time constraints would cause me to compromise my duties as an exec as well as a contributing member. After serious deliberation and console from my fellow peers, it is with a sad heart that I announce my resignation from the role of PR External for MacMSA.
I would like to apologize to my fellow Execs for having to pull out from this position as I know this will create a considerable amount of work as we re-open polls to fill in this position. I cannot express gratitude for all the things you all have taught me. I encourage all members to seriously consider running for this position as it will facilitate self growth and will expose you to some of the most extraordinary people that McMaster has to offer.

The directorship positions are now open as noted during Muscars. Applicants do not have to get someone to nominate them. All interested individuals must fill out the following online form by May 12th: Application |
